When a member of the Executive Committee of the Friends of the Opera House heard about Opera House staff taking laundry home to wash, the Friends knew they wanted to do something to help. Working with Thompson’s Appliances, Amelia Rothstein, Hospitality Manager was able to secure a good price on a brand-new washer and dryer. The Friends donated $1,100 dollars to make the purchase. So no more laundry bags to been seen leaving the Opera House!!
