Designed to give people in Woodstock a chance to see the Opera House before it closes for renovations, the recent open house found 125-150 community members touring the nooks and crannies of this wonderful building. Participants got to stand on the main stage, get a ride in the freight elevator, view the basement scene shop, see where the new staircase will be added, and much more. Blueprints of the changes were of special interest to the guests. The Friends hosted a raffle of wonderful, Italian foods and dishes from The Market, thanks to the generous donation by co-owners Darrin Flynn and Alberto Perez.  $500 was raised for the Opera House.
